Music and Sport
As well as full National curriculum provision. The school offers a wide variety of sporting and musical activities in its extra-curricular programme. Sport is an important part of our school life and we participate in football, netball, athletics, swimming and cross-country events. Children also have the opportunity to join the choir, other musical groups and take part in performances.
Wider community links are developed through various activities including for example, links with high schools, industry, musical group performances and carol singing. These links are important for children to understand that they are part of the wider community and prepare them to be successful members of that community.
Before and After School Activities
Our children can take part in a wide range of other extra-curricular activities. The children can choose from gardening, crafts, challenging puzzles, gymnastics and cookery at various times in their school life.
Educational Visits and Visitors
Day trips, short visits and visitors are an important part of our school life, giving the children first-hand experiences and enriching the curriculum. Parents may be asked to meet part or the whole of the cost where necessary.
