International Aid 

After their visit to B&M to purchase additional items for the shoebox appeal. Children in Year 5 and our RotaKids made up backpacks which will then be distributed by International Aid.

Enterprise Week

As part of their recent Enterprise project, children in Years 3, 4, 5 + 6 were able to purchase hot Vimto and chocolate biscuits. Y6 were raising money towards a community defibrillator and to sponsor an endangered animal with WWF.

World Book Day 

We celebrated World Book Day. Children attended school in their pyjamas and brought along their favourite story from home.
Each year took part in different activities. Some decorated gingerbread men while listening to a story. Others played games that related to certain books. But when Mrs Watson rang the bell everyone stopped what they were doing to read

Macmillan Coffee Morning 

We would like to say a big Thank You to everyone who donated to our coffee morning and cake sale. We raised a total if £150.

World Thinking Day 

World Thinking Day, formerly Thinking Day, is celebrated annually on 22 February by all Girl Guides and Girl Scouts. It is also celebrated by Scout and Guide organizations around the world. Today children who participate in different groups were able to attend school in their uniform.  

Christmas Jumper Day

This day involved raising money for Save The Children. Staff and children came to school wearing a Christmas jumper.

Remembrance Day

Remembrance Day is always an important date, at Mount Pleasant Primary School. As a school, we completed a variety of activities, alongside the minute's silence. Pupils were chosen to take a handmade wreath to the war memorial and to remember those on Remembrance Day.

Hello Yellow Day 

As a school, we dressed in yellow to highlight the importance of children's mental health, whilst completing activities around mental wellbeing. 

Harvest 

 

We would like to thank everyone for their Harvest donations. Everything collected will go to Clayton Foodbank.
