Christmas Jumper Day
This day involved raising money for Save The Children. Staff and children came to school wearing a Christmas jumper.
Remembrance Day is always an important date, at Mount Pleasant Primary School. As a school, we completed a variety of activities, alongside the minute's silence. Pupils were chosen to take a handmade wreath to the war memorial and to remember those on Remembrance Day.
Hello Yellow Day
As a school, we dressed in yellow to highlight the importance of children's mental health, whilst completing activities around mental wellbeing.
We would like to thank everyone for their Harvest donations. Everything collected will go to Clayton Foodbank.
World Book Day
This year marks 25 years since Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone was first published.
Inspired by this milestone anniversary, Mount Pleasant decided to celebrate some of the best magical, mythical, and adventurous characters in literature!
For World Book Day this year, we invited the children to dress up as characters from books but, this year, with a theme – think witches, wizards, dragons, unicorns, magicians, flying nannies – anything magical or mysterious.
