Autumn Term 2021
Mount Pleasant Primary School
Welcome to Foundation Stage - September 2021
Although COVID restrictions have been lifted at Mount Pleasant the children will be kept within their own year bubble. Lunch will be served in the dining room with either sandwiches or a hot option being served (FS2 only). Hand-washing is taking place throughout the day, especially after outdoor play, and before snack and lunch.
If your child becomes unwell or shows symptoms of COVID please get a PCR test or keep them off for 10 days, online learning will be provided for any periods of isolation.
Later in the half-term, we will be holding a ‘face to face’ settling-in parent’s consultation, before and after school. These will be held in the Outside classroom. Details to follow.
This half term we will be learning about Nursery Rhymes Autumn and Harvest. These themes will be central to our learning, incorporating all seven aspects of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum: Physical Development, Communication and Language, Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World and Expressive Arts and Design.
Please download and accept the invitation to join Eylog if you have not already done so, this is a great way to see what your children have been doing. If you are having problems accessing it please see one of the teachers.
