FS2 Home learning pack
11th January – 22nd January 2021
Our home learning pack is for FS2. We have included some phonics, literacy, mathematics and topic work. In our topic work we are thinking about Winter, there are a couple of challenge sheets in the pack with different activities on them.
If any work is set on Purple Mash or Busythings, we will message you on Eylog. Please try and complete any work set.
Please also record any activities or incidental learning on Eylog as we love to see what you have been doing. You could even take a photo of any work completed and upload it to Eylog.

Suggested Daily timetable for your guidance is as follows;
9.00am Talk about what the day, date and month is, see Eylog for our Days of the Week and Months of the Year song.15-10.00 Physical Exercise and Snack (YouTube has some videos, eg. KooKooKangaroo, Learning Station, Go Noodle and Cosmic Kids Yoga, Also Joe Wicks is also restarting his PE sessions.)
10.00-10.20 Phonics, one sound each day, use Education City for sounds. Log-in to Education City and go to Subjects, English, Year group FS2, Phonics and you will find the letter sounds, starting with ‘s’. After you have played the game, using the name card provided and a pencil, write name. The red dot on each letter indicates where to start writing each letter, this is to encourage correct formation.
10.20-10.30 Break
10.30-10.50 Literacy activity to include a sheet from the learning pack, home reading book and words, a story book from home or online reading from Oxford Owl (information below about this site).
10.50-11.00 Break
11.00-11.20 Maths activity to include a sheet from the learning pack and any games assigned on Busythings or Purple Mash. See below for simple practical activities.
11.40-12.00 Topic work activities included in the pack or any online activities set.
