Headteacher's Welcome
The children, staff and Governors of Mount Pleasant Primary School welcome you to our website. Its purpose is to help you learn more about the day-to-day life and work at Mount Pleasant.
At Mount Pleasant, we aim to create an inclusive, happy, stimulating learning environment, which allows equal opportunities for all, where children will achieve their potential; intellectually, emotionally, physically and socially.
‘Every child matters, every moment counts.’
We know that children learn best when they are secure and happy. How they feel about themselves is fundamental to their success. Therefore, we also aim to develop life skills like self-confidence, initiative, perseverance and cooperation.
We are very proud of the variety of experiences that are on offer to our children. The Senior Leadership Team, and I, would encourage new and prospective parents to ring or email school to talk to us further and book appointments to look around school any time.
